No more Disneyland for us..so SAD!

We are so sad because are Disneyland passes expired Oct.10. So here are some pictures of us the last two times we went.

September I went by myself with Brooklind and we rode all the fantasyland rides. We did Peter Pan, Mr. Toads Wild ride, Dumbo (which Brooklind LOVED), and Alice in Wonderland. Brooklind and I had a great time but it ended up being like over 100 degrees that day so we were sweating bullets. We still had fun.

October we went for the last time and Stephen was with us. It was nice the first few hours, than it started pouring rain. It was so bad we ended up just going home. It was still fun! We hope to get passes again very soon. I am already having withdrawals.

Justin & Kristen Smiths wedding Day

We attended a really good family friend of ours wedding Sept 11, 2010. It was at the Palos Verdes Beach club and Brooklind was the only baby that attended so we felt pretty honored. She was such a good girl. It was such a nice ceremony and reception. We are so happy for the handsome couple!

6 1/2 Month portaits

We got Brooklind's 6 month portraits done at Kiddie Kandids. They turned out so cute! She was so good while taking the pictures too.

We did two different outfits. The teal tutu and the purple/lavender. Love it!

ALMOST 6 months! Cannot believe it!!

We love her little tutu outfit!!! She looked so cute in it. Look at those thunder thighs :)

Another thing she loves is her exer saucer!! She loves playing with all the toys on it.

Brooklind is growing so much. She can rollover both ways (most of the time). She loves tummy time now. She used to hate it. Every morning when I get her out of her crib she is always on her tummy. She can almost sit all the way up by herself. Shes almost there. I am guessing she weights somewhere around 18lbs and probably like 28 inches long. I take her for her 6 month appointment on August 9. She gets her usual baby well check up and more shots. Poor baby will be sore and more than likely have a fever again like her last set.

She totally notices when you leave the room now. She doesnt cry, but she makes this loud kinda whine. She watched Cobra (our doggy) like a hawk. You can tell that when she starts moving she will be chasing after him. She always seems like such a happy baby and loves to be outside. She laughs and smiles all the time.

She eats 1st step baby foods with cereal twice a day now and still on formula in between. I discovered the up/up brand is good for everything (Target brand). Thats the type of formula we get and diapers. I like there diapers WAY better than Pampers and they are half the price and cuter with poka dots on them.She also finally discovered the toys are her play mat. She kicks them instead of uses her hands. She discovered her toys that vibrate on her car seat too. Its funny how she knows how to pull them down and watch it go back up.

Facer/McKay Visit July 31

We had Brady & Cambria and Kaili over for dinner and just to hangout. I made homemade chicken enchiladas and red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. All the food was a hit. I was so glad. Even though it was my own cooking I was pretty impressed with myself. It was totally fun! Plus we have 5 littles kids under the age of 3 in our apartment. It was crazy, but crazy fun! It was so great to see everyone. Brooklind loved meeting new friends that were more her size.

Meet up with Erin

Brooklind got to finally meet my good friend Erin Dekker. It was so good to catch up with her. I am so glad she moved back to California. Her and I are both not Utah lovers at all. We just hung out, chatted, shopped, drove around. etc. I have known Erin since I was a little little kid so we have hung out alot especially when I started driving. I used to own a white jeep Cherokee. NO JOKE...but while her and I were out and about and went to this shopping center called Bella Terra in Huntington Beach I see MY jeep. It was my exact one. My dad said he had sold it to this guy that lives in Garden Grove for his teenage daughter. So no surprise we saw it there. It was funny.

Erin loved playing with Brooklind. We would have gone swimming, but it was a little chilly that day.

Where did July go??

July just flew by. I can't believe it is now August. It seemed like so much happened in July. At church I was called to be part of the activities committee which I didn't think was so bad until they called Stephen and I to team teach Sunday school for the 14 & 15 year olds. Honestly the activities things takes more time, but preparing the lessons for Sunday school are really rough for me because I am not a scripture master at ALL! I did teach for the first time last Sunday and Stephen said I did good (I don't know if he was just being nice).

For Fourth of July we spent it in Big Bear at my parents and got to see the fireworks over the lake. Brooklind slept through the whole show. It was so awesome because at night in certain areas of Big Bear bats are flying around and they fly so low that they almost hit you. We went to my parents ward up there and took pictures of Brooklind in her 4th outfits.Basically we usually just hang out at the cabin: watch movies, go to the village, the boys go shooting, sleep, eat, etc. It was really warm up there that weekend too.Awwwww I love this picture of us!My parents had the johnny jumper in storage so we got it out...Brooklind loved it so much that she would just fall asleep in it Brooklind with her cousins at a 4th of July party
