Brooklind's 2nd Visit to Disneyland

We met up with Stephen's sister and niece at Disneyland last week. Mariah (our niece) she wanted to ride the Winne the Pooh ride so we all rode it. Brooklind was actually awake. She was loving the ride. Loved all the lights.

Her first pair of mickey ears..we didn't buy them because it was WAY too big.

We are very excited because this week we get to go to Disneyland with the my side of the family (the Linds).

Brooklind is Two weeks old today!!

I caught Brooklind smiling, but I only got the end of it by the time I took the picture.

1st Visit to Disneyland

We didn't get a whole lot of pictures because it was night and Brooklind was sleeping most of the time. Brooklind was sleeping until 9:25pm when the fireworks starting going off. Brooklind did not like that at all! She starting screaming. It was very loud I had to cover her little ears. Hoping that our next trip she will enjoy a little bit more.

Cobra and Brooklind get along just fine so far. They were sunbathing together when we were trying to bring Brooklind's jaundice down.

Brooklind has arrived!

This was the last picture of me pregnant. We are leaving for the hospital for me to be induced at 8:00am. I was very nervous/anxious, but knew it would all be worth it in the end.

When I arrived at the hospital I was a 5 1/2cm dilated. I got all hooked up to the pitocin and IV fluids at about 9:00am. My contractions didn't take long at all to get regular and painful. About 11:00am I got the epidural. About 1:00pm the doctor broke my water and I was a 6cm at this point. The doctor has told me after breaking my water that most likely I would dilated a centimeter an hour. It was about 2 or 2:30pm and I felt this really bad pressure (but not in the butt). Like almost like really bad pressure on my bladder. I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong with my cathiter. The nurse came in and went ahead and checked............she said " Jenny you are 9 1/2cm already and fully effaced." I thought she was kidding. So about 3:00 they had me doing "practice pushing". Each time I had a contraction I had to hold Stephen's hand. It was so painful!! FINALLY at 3:25ish my doctor came in and they had me start pushing for real. It hurt sooo bad that I just about was crying from the pain. My nurses and doctor were cheering me on like cheerleaders..........

10 minutes later................Brooklind was born.

39 weeks 1 day update

I went to the doctor this last Tuesday and I am 5cm dilated and 75-80% effaced. I have had MANY false alarms thinking this baby would be arriving into the world. I had a day where I had contractions for a good 1-2 hours that were 3 minutes apart, than I went to the bathroom and they completely stopped. So disappointing!
I made my doctor feel so bad because I am so uncomfortable and i dont even fit in my maternity clothes at this point. So my doctor agreed to have me induced on Monday February 8th. She said she is willing to do it because I am already dilated soooo far. So I have less than a week of being pregnant now. Unless Brooklind decides to come sooner, which would still be nice. I can finally relax and I can see that light at the end of the tunnel now. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So hopefully my next post will have hospital pictures and baby pictures :)
