Memorial Day Weekend

We went to Big Bear for memorial weekend. My parents and brother had a garage sale while we were there. It was a relaxing trip. We just hung around the cabin. For the first time Brooklind barfed on the way of the mountain, that was not fun to clean up.

These pictures were taken during the garage sale. We were getting a little bored, but Brooklind was entertained.

She learned how to climb up the ladder to the loft, so now we have to watch her like a hawk because her legs falls through and she doesn't have it totally down yet.

1 Year Doctor Appt & Valentine's Day 2011

Her appointment went well. She was a really good girl. Daddy came along for this appointment because she was getting 5 shots and her blood drawn. The doctor said "she is perfect", so that was good to her.

STATS:
21 lbs 6.9oz - 75 percentile
30 inches long - 70 percentile
Can't remember her head - but it was 90 percentile

After her appointment she was exhausted, well we ALL were. So we all took a nap. The rest of the day Brooklind was running a fever of 100. So I was trying to keep her comfortable with Tylenol and cold water (which she actually drank). He fever was gone by the next morning, thankfully.
Shes growing great and loving food! She is such a good eater. She will eat basically anything we put in front of her. She begs for food at your feed if you are sitting on the couch (reminds me of the dog).

Today is Brooklind's 2nd Valentines Day. She was only a week old for her first. It seems so long ago! Its crazy. She got candy, a monkey, and rice crispy treats, she especially liked the cards...hehe

My baby girl is one today!

I haven't posted since October 2010. I have been really bad about it lately. I knew I should post today as it is Brooklinds 1st birthday. We had a party for her this last Saturday with tons of family and some friends. It turned out great and Brooklind loved it!

Brooklind is not walking yet, but you can tell at any moment she will! She has her 1 year doctor appointment this week and I am not looking forward to that :( So sad...
