Driver's license & labor day weekend

I went to the DMV today and only waited about 15 minutes. I got my new license with my new name. I can't wait to get it in the mail. Everything went sooo smoothly and I am even going to get a new picture on it :)

I am also looking forward to Labor Day weekend. We are leaving tomorrow for Yosemite National Park. I can't wait to camp. It will be nice to get away from reality for the weekend!

My First Young Women's lesson

I did excellent today on my first young women's lesson at church. The lesson was on scripture study. I feel pretty confident that I got the message across. i don't meant to sound cocky, but i felt really good about it afterwards. I. Thanks for all the support from the leaders and Young women. It made it so much easier with the feedback. I was just called a few weeks ago to the beehive advisor in young womens. I am feeling much better now. I am trying to achieve my calling as much as I can.

My main message in my lesson was to read a little of your scriptures a day and you will guaranteed have the comfort and strength you need to get through the day. GUARANTEE!!

I feel sooo much better today than what I have been feeling lately. I have finally seen everything in perspective. Its hard. But I know I can handle it. I can handle anything after what my lives trials have been since I was 18.

I am addicted to the ABC family tv show THE SECRET LIFE OF AN AMERICAN TEENAGER. I can't wait to see if she will stay with the sweet guy BEN. He is the perfect guy!

I can't wait for Survivor to start next month!

We don't have kids, but we do have a doggy!

We Were just bored tonight and took pics of us and Cobra. Stephen is still getting used to having a dog. We are so excited we finally get a new landline telephone on Tuesday!! I didn't think I would be so excited about that!

Name change! What a pain!

Today I had to go to the Social Security office to get my name changed. It actually went very smoothly. I went by my Human resources so they are aware and also tried for the DMV. If anyone know torrance DMV its a joke. The line was WAY out the door and the lady came out and said " we are short staffed and only have 3 people working, so thats why the line isn't moving" So i said screw that....im going to go early next week. SO that was my day today.

Our new life together

Stephen and I just got married recently on June 13, 2008 in the Newport Beach temple. I have decided to start a blog for the both of us. We live in Palos Verdes right now. But would like to buy a house next year and live in the San Diego area. We are so excited!!! But, no babies yet. We are both working full time so Stephen would say I am always stressed out. I will post some pics of the wedding.
