Brooklind update

Brooklind is so dang cute! She is growing right before my eyes. This last week she has really been focusing on people and looking right into our eyes. She started smiling and trying to make noises like she wants to talk. It is so much fun to make her smile. It feels so rewarding as a mom. I am so grateful that I get to be home with her and not miss all this if I would of put her in a daycare.

She will be 2 months old on April 8th. I cannot believe it! We went to her doctors appointment a week ago and she is about 9lbs now and 21 1/2 inches long. She is going to be tall, she has really long legs. All her PJs that have feet are getting too short for her.

Brooklind's Baby Blessing

We had Brooklind's baby blessing at church on March 7, 2010. Stephen did such a great job on the blessing and I am so proud of him! It was a nice blessing and a nice open house at our apartment. It was all very cute. Everything turned out really nice. I was totally exhausted and slept for like 3 hours that afternoon.

4 Generations - grandma, my mom, me, and Brooklind. Nonna (my grandma) insisted on this picture. My Grandma (nonna) flew in from Salt Lake City, Utah. We did not think she would be able to make it. It was a big surprise.

Karlea & I - I was so happy that her and Matthew came to the blessing. It really meant alot to me to have them there. Karlea is like the sister I never had so I like her to be at the very special events in my life.

March Trip to Disneyland

Us after riding Winnie the Pooh - Brooklind loved it. Her favorite ride had to of been Haunted Mansion. She was awake the whole ride.
We went to Disneyland with my whole family - it was so much fun. We were there most of the day and it was nice to be able to ride the fast rides again. Because I wasn't prego this trip.

My new mommy hair

I got my hair done. I wanted a different color because it will be easier to maintain now that I am a full time mommy. Brooklind is now 3 weeks old. She will be a month old on Monday the 8th.
