Prego update

24 weeks 3 days
I just keep on growing!!! Everything is about the same. No scary contractions anymore because I have learned to take it easy. Not easy to do by the way. At my appoint July 1 I was told that I had only gained 8lbs so far in the pregnancy and that was really good!!! I had to go get the glucose blood test done which was not fun. I did the 1hr one first and failed it!!! Luckily my mom was in town so she was able to watch Brooklind because I had to go take the 3hr test (drinking the nasty orange soda stuff and getting 4 blood draws all within a 3hr period). I looked like a drug addict because of all the bruising on my arms. THANKFULLY I found out the same evening that I PASSED the 3hr test. I was so relieved!!
Also I found out I was a little anemic so I have to take iron supplements now. This has happened in all my pregnancies, so it wasn't much of a surprise.

28 weeks 1 day
Now I am 28 weeks and in my 3rd trimester! FINALLY!!! I am on the home stretch. I am just getting so huge so fast it seems like. And it all seemed like it happened overnight. I don't have my next appointment until August 13 so I will find out more on my measurements and such. With how big I am getting its really hard sleeping now. I can never get comfortable! I am up 3-4 times a night going pee as well which isn't helping. My body is soooo sore because when I am pregnant my sciatic nerves act up big time. Its really bad on my right now, but this last week I have noticed it starting on the left side as well. Other than all these usual pregnancies discomforts I am grateful to have a healthy baby so far, normal blood pressure throughout the whole pregnancy, and all of my other blood work come back normal. I just can't wait to meet our Baylee!!

Our summer (July)

So far this summer it has been pretty warm. Brooklind plays outside in her blow up zebra pool and we go to the pool in our complex. We have taken a few trips to get frozen yogurt and shaved ice at this place called 33 degrees and also yogurtland.

She especially loves to wear her arm floaties when we go to the big pool. She loves the water, but especially loves to run laps around the pool for some reason. Nap time is great after we have spent a good amount of time at the pool because she is wiped out!
We love our frozen yogurt!!! Especially from Yogurtland!

Brooklind watching and does everything we do these days. We have to be careful sometimes! Just yesterday Stephen found her trying to use the pooper scooper to pick up Cobra's poop (our dog). Everytime she sees him go poop outside she says "ewwww". It so cute to hear her say.

A picture of Brooklind one of the Sunday's before we left for church. Grandma Nat got her this dress. Isn't it so 1940s?? So cute!!! She always poses by the same wall when she wants her picture taken before church.

Brooklind loves to play dress up!! Especially with jewelry, shoes, and clothes!! I found her in the hallway with ALL of her bracelets on and necklaces. Shes doing some sort of pose for me in this picture.

Also we have spent time just at home watching movies and tv shows like (Yo Gabba Gabba, Sesame Street, and Leap frog). We can't get out much because we still just have the one car for our family.

Stephen found Brooklind like this in the morning watching her show. She put the chair on the ottoman all by herself and was just sitting there. We are grateful she didn't fall!!

TWO WEDDINGS in July!

First we went to our friend Kevin Lewis' wedding. It was in Palos Verdes. He got married in the Los Angeles Temple and than had the reception at this really cool house with horse property near Portuguese bend area by the cliffs. It was such an awesome wedding and the decor and creativity was amazing. Brooklind loved the dancing part.

This was the seating for the ring ceremony (bails of hay and rocks to sit on)

The second wedding was a really good family friend of ours that we have known for years. Caitlin Dekker and her new hubby.

They have such a cute family! 8 kids in total (one is missing because hes on his mission).

Her wedding was at the Newport beach temple and the reception was at their church building in Anaheim (more so Yorba Linda area). Hers was a black and white French theme. It was really cute.

They has tons of white pretty flowers and bistro tables. They added awnings. It looked like I was back in Paris. It was very creative!
