Baby Update - 37 weeks

I went to the doctor Tuesday the 19. The doctor said I am now 3.5cm dilated and 80% effaced. The baby's head is now in a fixed position. The doctor said he bets i don't make it to my next appointment, which is this coming Tuesday.
As of last night I was having crazy contractions. They actually hurt enough to wake me up. This morning I am having them pretty consistently. So we are still waiting.......ARGH! This little girl is stubborn.

Brown and Pink bedding: just like our wedding colors :)Her changing table with all the goodies.

36 week update

I am 36 weeks 3 days as of today. The baby has already dropped. I can breathe better and haven't gotten acid reflux for awhile. I went to the doctor yesterday and she found that I was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced. The doctor felt that I need to get to the hospital quick. We got diverted to another hospital (Anahiem Lakeview) because Irvine was full last night. They had me hooked up and observed for about an hour. I was having really strong contractions that were 3-5 minutes apart. But within the time I was there I was barely 2 1/2cm dilated so they sent me home. I was soooo bummed. They also informed me that I was really dehydrated so I had to down a bunch of water and my contractions stopped.
Now it is just a waiting game....because i am almost positive i lost my mucus plug already. Good news though that Brooklind is still extremely active!!
We are just waiting for the contractions to come back and get going again.

34 & 35 week update and picture

It amazing to me that I am 34 weeks in this picture. It looks like I am carrying a basketball around. I haven't done a 35 week picture yet. I reached 35 weeks this week.As of Jan.7th I am 35 weeks and 2 days. We went to the doctor that day and everything got checked out just fine. Baby sounds good (heartbeat), my belly is measuring good, they had to get a culture for that strep B test which I guess they always do toward the end of the pregnancy, and the good news at this point is....if I go into labor they won't stop it!!! :) YAY YAY!!!! Hopefully my next posts to come will be if I am dilated or if the baby is here already :)
