Brooklind's 1st Sunday in Nursery

We took Brooklind to nursery for the first time and she loved it! She never cried! She was so happy to play with the other kids. She did so great!! I guess the only mishap was her trying to eat play dough, which she then decided it wasn't so tasty. She also has her first piece of artwork from nursery. She colored a picture. We had to keep it :) Such a milestone. I just can't believe my baby is a kid now!! Shes growing WAY too fast. It makes me sad.It was so nice to be able to relax and not have to run after her 2 and 3 hour.Her first piece of artwork - Everyone usually spells Brooklind's name wrong. I guess we better get used to it.

Summer time 2011 July

This summer has been a warm one for California. But we are grateful to be close to the beach to get that ocean breeze. We have taken Brooklind to the park several times, walks, to the library, and her latest thing is watching Yo Gabba Gabba. She loves watching the beginning intro part and dances and waves her arms around.Brooklind just loves getting into ALL my stuff! ALL the time.

4th of July Week

Brooklind and I started off the week going to the beach with our friend Krystal and her dog Keeva. We both got sunburned because we were there from 11:30 to like 3 - TOO LONG! We both had tons of sunblock on too!

Our stake put on a 4th of July show and we went to that Saturday night July 2nd. They had singing, dancing, armed forces, and more. It was so good! Very inspiring performance!

Ready for church - Sunday 3rd

The day of 4th of July: we had our friends over for a BBQ, played games, hung out and later went to watch the fireworks.
My friend that came over made mini strawberry cheesecakes and chocolate covered festive strawberries - SOOOOO good!
